Hi. My name is John. How are you doing?

W: Hello John. My name is Wolfgang. I am good. How about you?
W: Hallo John. Mein Name ist Wolfgang. Mir geht es gut. Und dir?
J:Yes, all is good my side. What do you do?
J:Ja, bei mir ist alles gut. Was machst du so?
W: I am a Mechanical Engineer. What about you?
W: Ich bin Maschinenbauingenieur. Und was machst du?
J: I work as a Computer Science Engineer with Amazon. Where do you work?
J: Ich arbeite als Computer Science Engineer bei Amazon. Wo arbeitest du?
W: I work with Siemens. How long have you been in Germany?
W: Ich arbeite bei Siemens. Wie lange sind Sie schon in Deutschland?
J: I am living in Germany for last 5 years. And how long have you been here?
J: Ich lebe seit 5 Jahren in Deutschland. Und wie lange sind Sie schon hier?
W: I have been in Germany since last 2 years. Where do you come from?
W: Ich bin seit den letzten 2 Jahren in Deutschland. Woher kommst du?
J: I come from France. Where do you come from?
J: Ich komme aus Frankreich. Woher kommst du?
W: I come from Austria.
W: Ich komme aus Österreich.
J: Are you single or married?
J: Bist du ledig oder verheiratet?
W: I am married and have 2 kids. One daughter and one son. What about you?
W: Ich bin verheiratet und habe 2 Kinder. Eine Tochter und einen Sohn. Und Du?
J: I am single, not yet married because I am still studying and just 25 years old. How old are you ?
J: Ich bin ledig, noch nicht verheiratet, weil ich noch studiere und erst 25 Jahre alt bin. Wie alt sind Sie?
W: I am 37 years old. I got married when I was 31. I have been married for last 6 years.
W: Ich bin 31 Jahre alt. Ich habe im Alter von 25 Jahren geheiratet. Ich bin jetzt seit 6 Jahren verheiratet.
J: How is your life here in Germany?
J: Wie ist Ihr Leben hier in Deutschland?
W: The life is fantastic here. I have a good job, a good apartment and good friends. We meet regularly for coffee and dinners.
W: Das Leben ist fantastisch hier. Ich habe einen guten Job, eine gute Wohnung und gute Freunde. Wir treffen uns regelmäßig zum Kaffee und zum Abendessen.
W: How is your life and how do you spend your time here?
W: Wie ist Ihr Leben und wie verbringen Sie Ihre Zeit hier?
J: I would say I have a good life without wife. Ha ha. Just Joking. Since I am unmarried, I have a lot of free time for outdoor activities. I go for swimming, play tennis. I also go for movies on the weekend.
J: Ich würde sagen, ich habe ein gutes Leben ohne Frau. Ha ha. Nur ein Scherz. Da ich unverheiratet bin, habe ich viel freie Zeit für Aktivitäten im Freien. Ich gehe schwimmen, spiele Tennis. Am Wochenende gehe ich auch ins Kino.
John: What are your hobbies? What do you do generally in free time?
John: Was sind Ihre Hobbys? Was machst du generell in deiner Freizeit?
W: I go for hiking and swimming on the weekends. During the week, I play table tennis.
W: An den Wochenenden gehe ich wandern und schwimmen. Unter der Woche spiele ich Tischtennis.
J: That is fantastic. I think we should go out for coffee or dinner sometime. What do you think?
J: Das ist fantastisch. Ich denke, wir sollten mal einen Kaffee trinken oder essen gehen. Was meinst du dazu?
W: Yes, that is a very good idea. Are you free this weekend?
W: Ja, das ist eine sehr gute Idee. Hast du dieses Wochenende Zeit?
J: Yes I am free in the evening on the Weekend
J: Ja, ich habe am Wochenende abends Zeit.
W: I think we should go for a dinner this weekend. I will also bring my family.
W: Ich denke, wir sollten am Wochenende essen gehen. Ich werde auch meine Familie mitbringen.
J: Yes, I would love to go for a dinner. Do you know which restaurant we could go to?
J: Ja, ich würde gerne mal essen gehen. Weißt du, in welches Restaurant wir gehen könnten?
W: Yes there is a very nice Italian Restaurant near the centre. its called Daniele’s. I will send you the address.
W: Ja, es gibt ein sehr schönes italienisches Restaurant in der Nähe des Zentrums, es heißt Daniele’s. Ich werde Ihnen die Adresse schicken.
J: Perfect. So do we meet around 7 PM on Saturday? Is that OK for you?
J: Perfekt. Treffen wir uns also am Samstag gegen 19 Uhr? Ist das für Sie in Ordnung?
W: Yes that would work for me. I will see you then on Saturday at 7 PM at Daniele.
W: Ja, das wäre für mich in Ordnung. Wir sehen uns dann am Samstag um 19 Uhr bei Daniele.
